How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Title: Early YearsTeaching Assistant
    Location: Dartford
    Pay: £88 - £110 per day (via PAYE)

    Are you passionate about supporting young learners and helping them develop in their early years?

    Vision for Education is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a primary school near Dartford. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for working with young children, to support their learning and development in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons to children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
    Support small groups and individual children with their learning, helping to foster a love of learning.
    Help with classroom management and create a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment.
    Assist with the planning and preparation of learning resources and activities.
    Provide pastoral support, ensuring children feel supported, happy, and confident in their learning.
    Monitor children's progress and provide feedback to the teacher.
    Work with the wider school team, including other teaching assistants and staff members, to ensure the smooth running of the school day.
    The Ideal Candidate:

    Experience working with young children, ideally within an Early Years setting.
    A relevant qualification such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent (desirable).
    A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their development.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team.
    A positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
    Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
