PTS Track Worker
Landscape Labourer
Rolling Stock/Vehicle Polisher - We currently have a fantastic opportunity for dedicated hands-on workers either from skilled labouring roles / PTS Track Working / Landscape labouring or similar backgrounds to join a long term contract until January 2027 in Crawley working on Trains.
Working in a train depot you will be required to prep carriages before carrying out final exterior machine polishing. This is a highly physical role, all training will be provided
This role has an attractive rate of £20.00 Per Hour Ltd OUTSIDE IR35 rising to £23.00 after training, and will be conducted Monday to Friday on an Evening shift (Apply online only))
Job Details:
• Machine Polishing: Perform high-quality machine polishing on Carriage paintwork to remove surface defects such as swirl marks, holograms, light scratches etc
• Final Finishing: Apply waxes, sealants, and ceramic coatings as required for long-term protection etc
• Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces prior to polishing by cleaning, decontaminating, and masking sensitive areas.
Job Experience:
• Experience of working in a physically demanding role (Skilled Labouring, PTS Trackmen, Landscape Labourers etc)
• A working knowledge of H&S responsibilities
You must also be able to pass a Medical, Drug & Alcohol screening.
