Sheet Metal Worker/Fabricator

Our client has a full time position available for a motivated skilled sheet metal worker / fabricator with experience working with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
This position requires a confident candidate who can use their own initiative and be able to work to a high standard unsupervised.
Competitive rates of pay are available and will be based on skills, experience and ability.
Requirements:
* A basic understanding to read drawings.
* Welding of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
* Be fully competent in use of all machinery (press brake, rollers, guillotines, saw, hand tools etc.
* Fabricate sheet metal components according to technical drawings and specifications.
* Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised tooling safely and efficiently.
* Perform grinding, welding and polishing to produce high-quality finished products.
* Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using appropriate techniques and equipment.
* TIG / MIG weld to a high standard.
* Full UK driving license preferred.
* Experience preferred.
Working Hours:
39 hours per week.
* Monday - Thursday: 7.00am to 4.00pm
* Friday - 7.00am to 12.00pm.
Break Times: Two 15-minute paid breaks and 30 minutes unpaid dinner time 12:30pm – 1:00pm.
Holidays :33 days a year including stats
