Overview
We are seeking an experienced Working Foreman/woman to oversee and coordinate construction site in the Oxfordshire area. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, supervisory experience. This role involves leading teams, ensuring project timelines are met, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality throughout the project lifecycle. The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in delivering projects efficiently while fostering a collaborative work environment.
Duties
* Supervise daily operations on-site, ensuring work is completed in accordance with project plans and specifications
* Coordinate labour, equipment, and materials to optimise productivity and minimise delays
* Lead, motivate, and manage team members to achieve project objectives while maintaining high safety standards
* Working on the tools when required.
* Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
* Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve issues promptly
* Conduct regular site inspections to oversee work activities and address any concerns or deviations from plans
* Prepare progress reports and update project documentation as required
Experience
* Proven management experience within the construction or engineering sectors
* Supervising experience with a track record of leading successful teams on complex projects
* Trade background preffered
* Experience in student accommodation refurbs.
* Construction, Renovation & Restoration experience.
