How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are seeking a skilled Tube Laser Operator to work night shifts in our manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining Adige tube laser cutting machinery to produce precise metal components.

    Responsibilities

    * Set up and operate tube laser cutting machines according to specifications and production schedules.

    * Load raw materials such as sheet metal and tubes onto the machine, ensuring proper alignment and safety measures.

    * Monitor machine operation throughout the shift, adjusting settings as necessary to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

    * Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance.

    * Inspect finished components for quality, ensuring they meet specified dimensions and tolerances.

    * Utilise hand tools and tooling to assist with material handling, assembly, or minor adjustments as required.

    * Maintain accurate records of production output, machine settings, and any issues encountered during operation.

    Requirements

    * Proven experience on Adige Tube Laser machines

    * Knowledge of sheet metal working processes and familiarity with tooling is essential.

    * Ability to interpret technical drawings and perform basic math calculations related to measurements and dimensions.

    * Proficiency with hand tools and mechanical equipment used in metal fabrication.

    * Strong understanding of safety procedures related to machine operation and material handling.

    * Basic knowledge of assembly processes is advantageous.

    * Good organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure quality standards are consistently met
