About the Role
We are looking for compassionate Healthcare Assistants to support children with complex health needs within a school setting.
Working on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, you'll help children access education safely while supporting their health, wellbeing, and independence throughout the school day.
As a Healthcare Assistant, you'll provide personal care, medication administration, moving and handling, and support with a range of clinical interventions, working closely with the wider care and education teams.
Clinical support may include:
* Epilepsy management and rescue medication
* Diabetes management
* Nebuliser support
* Enteral feeding (PEG and NG)
* Medication administration
What You'll Need
We're looking for caring and reliable Healthcare Assistants with:
* A minimum of 3 months' care experience
* Confidence with medication administration, personal care, and moving & handling
* Good communication skills and a person-centred approach
* A patient, caring, and adaptable nature
