How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Compliance & Process Engineer – Hardware Manufacturing & Electronic Products Are you an experienced Compliance & Process Engineer looking to join an innovative engineering organisation developing technology-driven electronic products for global markets?

    We are seeking a highly motivated engineer to play a key role in product compliance, manufacturing process improvement, and new product introduction within a growing hardware development environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in regulatory compliance, process engineering, and product lifecycle management who enjoys working across engineering, manufacturing, and quality functions.

    About the Role As a Product Compliance & Process Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring products meet applicable international regulatory standards while supporting efficient manufacturing processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

    Working within a multidisciplinary hardware engineering team, you will maintain compliance records, support product testing and certification activities, and help ensure that manufacturing processes align with regulatory and quality requirements.

    You will also contribute to design-for-manufacture initiatives, engineering change control, component management, and the successful release of new products into production.

    Key Responsibilities
    Maintain and manage product compliance records and regulatory status documentation.
    Prepare technical documentation for regulatory submissions and product evaluations.
    Support product compliance testing, certification, and qualification activities.
    Create and maintain Declarations of Conformity and related compliance documentation.
    Monitor changes to international standards and identify products requiring re-certification or re-validation.
    Assist with the introduction of new products into manufacturing.
    Maintain engineering and production data for existing products.
    Support component lifecycle and obsolescence management activities.
    Assist with engineering change control and first-off approval processes.
    Create and maintain manufacturing process documentation and operating procedures.
    Work closely with Process Engineers to identify and implement process improvements.
    Conduct design-for-manufacture (DFM) reviews on new hardware projects.
    Support FMEA activities and manufacturing quality initiatives.Skills & Experience Required
    HND, HNC, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Electronics, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related discipline.
    Minimum 5 years' experience in a Product Compliance, Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or similar role.
    Experience working within electronics, hardware, manufacturing, or embedded systems environments.
    Knowledge of regulatory compliance processes and product certification requirements.
    Understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering documentation, and change control.
    Experience maintaining technical records and compliance documentation.
    Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
    Ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.Desirable Experience
    Knowledge of EMC testing, product safety standards, or functional testing standards.
    Experience supporting regulatory approvals for international markets.
    Familiarity with FMEA, DFM, Lean Manufacturing, or continuous improvement methodologies.
    Exposure to component management and obsolescence processes.
    Understanding of electronic products or embedded hardware systems.What's on Offer?
