How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    About Us

We are a leading national healthcare provider operating across both OFSTED-regulated Children's Services and CQC-registered Adult Services. With over 1,400 employees and a strong national presence, we are a fast-growing, innovative organisation committed to delivering outstanding care and support.

As we continue to invest in technology, data, and innovation, we are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Business Research Analyst to join our team and help shape the future direction of our organisation.

    The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious graduate or early-career professional with a background in Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Business, Data Analytics, Research, or a related discipline. Working directly with the Senior Leadership Team, you will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making through research, data analysis, and business intelligence.

You will be at the forefront of healthcare innovation, helping to identify opportunities, evaluate emerging technologies, analyse market trends, and support the development of operational and strategic plans that drive business growth and service excellence.

This is a highly autonomous role with genuine influence and decision-making responsibility, offering the opportunity to contribute to major business initiatives and long-term organisational development.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Conduct business, market, and sector research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and risks.

    * Analyse internal and external data to support strategic and operational decision-making.

    * Produce reports, presentations, and business cases for senior stakeholders.

    * Support the development of organisational strategy and operational planning.

    * Research innovations in healthcare, technology, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation.

    * Monitor competitor activity, regulatory developments, and market intelligence.

    * Work alongside senior leaders to evaluate new business opportunities and service developments.

    * Develop meaningful insights from complex datasets and present findings in a clear and actionable manner.

    * Assist with project planning, performance analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

    * Support the implementation of technology-enabled solutions that enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

    What We're Looking For

    * Degree educated in Business, Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Economics, Research, Healthcare Management, or a related discipline.

    * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    * Excellent research capabilities with the ability to interpret complex information.

    * Confidence working with data and producing insightful reports.

    * Strong communication and presentation skills.

    * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

    * Commercial awareness and an interest in healthcare innovation.

    * Curious, proactive, and solutions-focused mindset.

    * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

    * Knowledge of data visualisation tools, AI technologies, or business intelligence platforms would be advantageous.

    What We Offer

    * A unique opportunity to work directly with the Senior Leadership Team.

    * Exposure to strategic decision-making within a large national healthcare organisation.

    * Significant autonomy and responsibility from an early stage.

    * Opportunities to shape organisational strategy and influence business direction.

    * Career development within a growing and innovative company.

    * Exposure to cutting-edge healthcare technologies, AI, and digital transformation initiatives.

    * Competitive salary and benefits package.

    Why Join Us?

This is more than a traditional analyst role. It is an opportunity to become a trusted partner to senior leaders and help shape the future of a national healthcare organisation. If you are passionate about research, technology, innovation, and making a meaningful impact in healthcare, we would love to hear from you
