How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Graduate Lab Production Technician (Chemistry / Chemical)

    £32,000 + Excellent Training + Laboratory Based + 33 Days Holiday + Company Pension + Bonus

    Laboratory Based, Commutable from Staffordshire, Uttoxeter, Stoke-On-Trent, Stafford, Burton-Upon-Trent, Derby

    Are you a Graduate within Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or have a passion within Chemistry looking for an excellent career opportunity where you will be given 6 months training for you to become a technical expert within a UKAS Accredited calibration company surrounded by current future scientists?

    This is a great opportunity for a Graduate with experience in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering looking for a highly technical and interested role where you will be given lots of technical training to have a long term career working 37.5 hours a week surrounded by successful scientists.

    This company have been established for over 25 years and are UKAS Accredited combined with a low staff turnover and excellent training, this is a great opportunity for a Graduate to get their foot in the door and kick start their career.

    This role will suit a Graduate within Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or have a passion within Chemistry looking for an excellent career opportunity where you will be given 6 months training for you to become a technical expert within a UKAS Accredited calibration company surrounded by current future scientists.

    The Role:
    *Initial 6 Months Training, Lab based with no travel afield required.
    *Working as part of a team and as a sole technician
    *Lots of training and some but limited progression

    *Previous Chemistry experience either at A Level or University
