How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    HR Manager (Projects) 
    Near Ipswich | Hybrid Working | Full Time | Competitive Salary + Benefits
     
    Our client, an established and highly respected organisation operating within a complex and regulated environment, is seeking an experienced HR Manager (Projects) to lead the delivery of a diverse portfolio of people-focused projects across the employee life cycle.
     
    This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded HR professional with strong project management expertise to join a purpose-driven organisation at an exciting stage of development. Offering a hybrid working arrangement, the role is based near Ipswich with occasional travel to other sites.
     
    The Opportunity
    Reporting into the senior HR leadership team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of multiple strategic HR and organisational projects. Working closely with senior stakeholders, they will translate people strategy into practical action plans, ensuring projects are delivered effectively, on time and within budget.

    This position requires an individual who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, influencing stakeholders across the organisation while driving projects through to successful completion.
     
    Key Responsibilities

    Lead and deliver a portfolio of complex HR and people-related projects from inception through to implementation and review.
    Develop and execute project plans aligned to organisational objectives and people priorities.
    Manage project time lines, budgets, resources, risks and governance requirements.
    Build and coordinate cross-functional project teams, including external suppliers where appropriate.
    Engage and influence senior leaders and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
    Monitor project performance, proactively identifying and addressing risks and issues.
    Evaluate project success, embedding lessons learned and continuous improvement practices.
    Provide HR expertise and project leadership support to wider organisational initiatives.
    Deputise for the Head of HR Operations on people-related matters as required. 
    About the Candidate
     
    Our client is looking for a highly capable HR professional with a proven track record of delivering complex people initiatives within a fast-paced environment.
    The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and navigating ambiguity, while balancing multiple priorities and maintaining a strong focus on results.
     
    Essential Experience

    Demonstrable experience managing complex HR or people project portfolios.
    Strong knowledge of HR policies, processes and best practice across the employee life cycle.
    Experience leading cross-functional and matrix-managed teams.
    Proven ability to manage project budgets, resources and delivery schedules.
    Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
    Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
    Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build credibility at all levels. 
    Desirable

    CIPD qualification and/or recognised project management certification (PRINCE2, APM, Agile, PMP or similar).
    Experience working within a growing, transformation-focused or changing organisation.
    Background in a regulated or complex operational environment.
