How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Location: Gatwick Road, Crawley
    Contract: Full-time, permanent
    Shifts: Monday to Friday | Start times from 0700
    Salary: £34,500 basic + overtime
    We are currently recruiting Class 2 Collection & Delivery Drivers to join one of our busy Clients in Crawley. This is a Monday–Friday, multi-drop role offering a competitive salary, modern vehicles, paid overtime.

    The Role
    You will be responsible for completing multi-drop collections and deliveries, ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with planned routes.
    Key responsibilities include:
    • Completing multi-drop collections and deliveries to customer locations
    • Accurate completion of paperwork and Proof of Delivery (PODs)
    • Carrying out daily vehicle checks
    • Compliance with tachograph rules, drivers’ hours, and the Road Transport Directive
    • Ensuring vehicle and load security at all times
    • Maintaining high standards of health and safety
    What We’re Looking For
    * Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
    * Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
    * Good working knowledge of transport legislation and drivers’ hours
    * Strong communication skills and a professional approach
    * Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
    * Multi-drop experience preferred, but not essential for the right candidate
