Position 1 Recruitment are hiring for Panel Wireman for a technical engineering firm delivering bespoke solutions in Norwich.
Monday to Friday | 40 Hours per Week | 25 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays
Panel Wireman responsible for wiring and assembling electrical control panels using technical drawings and specifications. Collaborated with engineering and testing teams to ensure equipment was built, inspected, and delivered in accordance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assembled and wired electrical control panels in accordance with technical drawings and specifications.
* Installed electrical components, cable management systems, and mounting hardware within control panel enclosures.
* Carried out quality checks, inspections, and functional testing to ensure equipment met required standards before release.
* Worked closely with engineering teams to identify and resolve wiring, assembly, and technical issues.
* Maintained compliance with company health and safety policies, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.
* Assisted with site-based installation, commissioning, and support activities when required.
You will have
* Previous experience in control panel wiring, electrical assembly, or a similar technical environment.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
* Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
* Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
