The role offers hybrid working, with a minimum of three days per week in the office and the remainder worked remotely. Part-time and flexible working arrangements will be considered for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
• Managing a varied caseload of probate matters from instruction through to completion
• Advising clients on estate administration, wills, and inheritance matters
• Preparing and submitting probate applications and related documentation
• Liaising with executors, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and HMRC
• Ensuring all work is conducted in compliance with SRA standards and regulations
• Providing clear, professional advice while maintaining high standards of client care
Requirements
• Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with relevant post-qualification experience in probate
• Strong knowledge of probate procedures, estate administration, and inheritance matters
• Ability to manage a caseload independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• Commitment to maintaining professional standards in line with SRA regulations
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Excel
• Experience with case management systems such as Proclaim, Hoowla, Filemaker desirable
