How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Production Supervisor

    Ringwood

    Our client is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join their manufacturing operation and lead a busy electro-mechanical assembly team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Production Supervisor to play a key role in driving productivity, quality, safety and continuous improvement while ensuring production targets are achieved.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Lead, motivate and develop a team of assembly technicians to deliver production plans and business objectives.
    Coordinate labour, materials and resources to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery.
    Monitor performance, identify production issues and implement corrective actions to maintain output and quality standards.
    Drive Lean manufacturing initiatives, including 5S, standard work and continuous improvement activities.
    Ensure products are built to specification with accurate documentation and traceability maintained.
    Promote a strong health and safety culture and maintain high housekeeping standards across the production area.
    Work closely with Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain teams to resolve issues and improve operational performance.
    Support training, coaching and development of team members.

    About You:

    Previous experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar manufacturing leadership role.
    Experience using MRP/ERP systems within a production environment.
    Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering drawings and BOM structures.
    Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
    Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
    Strong commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement.
