How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    We're looking for a Receptionist & Administrator to join a professional and welcoming financial services business in Eastbourne. This is a varied role where you'll be the first point of contact for clients, while also providing valuable administrative support to a busy team.

    Key Responsibilities

    Greeting clients and visitors with a professional and friendly approach
    Answering incoming calls and handling enquiries
    Managing appointments, diaries and bookings
    Preparing documents, correspondence and client communications
    Maintaining accurate records and filing systems
    Handling incoming and outgoing post
    Providing day-to-day administrative support to the wider team
    Helping to ensure the office runs efficiently and professionally 
    Skills, Experience & Training Requirements

    Previous experience in a Receptionist, Administrator or similar office-based role
    Excellent communication and customer service skills
    Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
    Confident using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
    Professional, reliable and able to manage multiple tasks
    Comfortable handling highly confidential information
    A positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues when needed
