How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Part Time Accounts Administrator to support the accounting and finance operations within a not-for-profit organisation.

    This role is based in Lincoln and involves key responsibilities in maintaining financial records and assisting with financial administration.

    This is a fully on site Part Time Accounts Administrator in Lincoln.

    Description

    Process and reconcile financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
    Assist in the preparation of financial reports and documentation.
    Support the accounts payable and receivable functions.
    Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
    Provide administrative support to the Accounting & Finance department.
    Respond to finance-related queries from internal and external stakeholders.
    Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and procedures.
    Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and policies.Profile

    A successful Part Time Accounts Administrator should have:

    A background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
    Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications.
    Strong organisational and administrative skills.
    Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
    The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    An understanding of the not-for-profit sector is an advantage.
