How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Paralegal - Commercial Property / Landlord & Tenant
    London, near St Paul's
    Leading UK Law Firm

    A leading UK law firm is looking to appoint a Paralegal to join its highly regarded Real Estate team in London, based close to St Paul's. This is an excellent opportunity for a Paralegal with an interest in commercial property, landlord and tenant matters and transactional real estate work to develop within a professional, supportive and well-established legal environment.

    The successful Paralegal will work closely with experienced solicitors and partners, supporting a busy team on a range of commercial property matters. This Paralegal role will have a strong focus on landlord and tenant work, including commercial lease renewals, 1954 Act matters, statutory documentation and general real estate support for a varied client base.

    The firm has a strong reputation across the UK, with a collaborative culture, high-quality client work and a clear commitment to developing junior legal talent. The London office offers a professional but down-to-earth environment, giving the successful candidate the chance to gain meaningful hands-on experience within a respected commercial property team.

    The Paralegal's role

    The successful Paralegal will support the Real Estate team across a broad range of commercial property and landlord and tenant matters, with responsibilities including:

    * Assisting with commercial landlord and tenant matters
    * Supporting lease renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954
    * Preparing and managing statutory documentation
    * Drafting and reviewing basic property-related documents
    * Assisting with notices, licences, deeds and lease-related correspondence
    * Preparing transaction bibles and completion documents
    * Carrying out title checks, searches and Companies House checks
    * Liaising with clients, solicitors, agents and third parties
    * Managing deadlines, document production and administrative support across live matters
    * Supporting fee earners on wider commercial property transactions where required

    The Paralegal

    The successful Paralegal will ideally have:

    * Previous paralegal experience within commercial property, real estate or landlord and tenant work
    * Exposure to 1954 Act lease renewals would be highly advantageous
    * Experience preparing statutory notices or property documentation
    * Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
    * A proactive, professional and reliable approach
    * Strong written and verbal communication skills
    * The ability to manage deadlines and support multiple fee earners
    * A genuine interest in building a career within commercial property law

    This role would suit a Paralegal looking to strengthen their commercial property experience within a respected UK law firm, particularly someone interested in developing their knowledge of landlord and tenant work, lease renewals and statutory property documentation.

    In Return

    * Competitive salary
    * London office location near St Paul's
    * High-quality commercial property work
    * Strong exposure to landlord and tenant matters
    * Supportive, collaborative team environment
    * Excellent training and development
    * Opportunity to work closely with experienced solicitors and partners
    * Strong platform for future career progression within real estate law
