How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

SEN Provision Teaching Assistant - Newham - £95 to £120 Daily Rate - Full Time - September Start - Primary School

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Provision Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive primary school in Newham. This full-time, long-term position is available for a September start and offers a competitive daily rate of £95 to £120, depending on experience. The school is seeking an individual who is passionate about supporting children with complex needs and committed to making a meaningful difference to their educational journey.

Do you have experience working with children with complex Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?
Are you comfortable providing personal care when required?
Can you work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and contribute positively to pupils' learning and development?

If so, this could be the ideal role for you.

The Role - SEN Provision Teaching Assistant
As an SEN Provision Teaching Assistant, you will be working within a specialist provision supporting pupils with a range of complex needs, including autism, communication difficulties, and learning disabilities. You will provide both 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils access learning, develop independence, and achieve their individual targets.

The role will involve supporting pupils with personal care, implementing tailored learning programmes, assisting with therapeutic and sensory activities, and promoting positive behaviour throughout the school day. You will work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure pupils receive the highest standard of care and education.

The successful candidate will be patient, resilient, and proactive, with a genuine passion for SEND. The school is looking for someone who can build positive relationships, contribute effectively to the wider team, and add real value to the provision through their commitment to pupil progress and wellbeing.

    The School - Newham
This inclusive primary school has a well-established specialist provision and a strong reputation for supporting pupils with additional needs. The leadership team is highly supportive and committed to staff development, offering ongoing training and opportunities for progression. The school prides itself on creating a nurturing environment where every child is valued and encouraged to achieve their full potential.
