How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Online Live Chat Agent

    Location: Kent (Hybrid - 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home)
    Salary: £26,200 per annum

    We are currently recruiting for an Online Live Chat Agent to join our client's growing customer support team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a modern, customer-focused business offering a hybrid working arrangement and a supportive team environment.

    As the first point of contact for customers, you will play a key role in delivering a positive customer experience, responding to enquiries via live chat and email, and ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and professionally.

    What You'll Be Doing:

    Responding to customer enquiries via live chat and email in a timely and professional manner
    Providing accurate information and support to customers
    Investigating and resolving customer issues, escalating more complex cases where necessary
    Maintaining detailed and accurate customer records
    Working closely with internal teams to ensure customer queries are resolved effectively
    Delivering a positive customer experience with every interaction

    What We're Looking For:

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
    Previous experience in customer service, contact centre, live chat, retail, hospitality, or a similar customer-facing role
    Ability to manage multiple conversations and tasks simultaneously
    A positive, proactive, and customer-focused approach
    Good IT skills and confidence using multiple systems
