Our client is seeking a Technical Services Supervisor with an HVAC bias to join their established team in Reading. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation that values its people, invests in development, and promotes a culture of continuous improvement.

The Role

As Technical Services Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance operations across the site, ensuring high standards of service delivery, compliance, and operational performance. You will play a key role in supporting and developing engineers on site while driving best practice and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:

Supervising planned and reactive maintenance activities
Supporting the ongoing development and performance of site engineers
Conducting audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Monitoring and reporting against contractual KPIs
Delivering toolbox talks and safety briefings
Assisting with the management and oversight of specialist subcontractors
Promoting a strong health, safety, and environmental culture across the team
Building and maintaining strong client relationships through excellent service delivery

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

A recognised engineering qualification, ideally within HVAC or a related discipline
IOSH Managing Safely qualification or equivalent
Previous experience in a supervisory maintenance or facilities management environment
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
A customer-focused approach with a commitment to service excellence
Good knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental practices
A proactive attitude with the ability to solve problems and deliver results

Basic salary circa £52,000
