How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to support students who are developing strong communication skills and becoming more independent learners.

This is a great opportunity for a SEN Teacher who enjoys a mix of classroom teaching and real-life skill development. As a SEN Teacher, you’ll be helping students prepare for life beyond school, supporting them with relationships, confidence, and the ability to handle everyday challenges. If you’re someone who enjoys seeing students take real steps forward, this SEN Teacher role is perfect for you.

About the Role – SEN Teacher

    * Communicate clearly and take part in conversations

    * Understand more complex instructions and language

    * Show growing independence and self-awareness

    * Be able to manage challenges and build resilience (with some support)

    * Use their skills in different situations, both in and out of the classroom

    * Take part in social activities and build friendships

    * Learn simple planning and reflection skills

    * Be able to access parts of the national curriculum

As a SEN Teacher, your role is to guide and challenge students so they can keep developing these important life and learning skills.

What You’ll Be Doing – SEN Teacher

In this SEN Teacher role, you will:

    * Deliver structured and engaging lessons linked to the national curriculum

    * Support independence, confidence, and everyday life skills

    * Encourage communication, discussion, and social interaction

    * Help students apply learning in real-life situations

    * Support planning, reflection, and emotional understanding

    * Create a positive and well-structured classroom environment

    * Work closely with support staff and other professionals

    * Celebrate progress and prepare students for their next steps as a SEN Teacher

What We’re Looking For – SEN Teacher

We’re looking for a confident and supportive SEN Teacher who:

    * Has experience working with SEN, especially with more independent learners

    * Is comfortable teaching structured lessons and some national curriculum content

    * Can support both academic learning and personal development

    * Encourages communication and social skills

    * Is positive, patient, and adaptable

    * Wants to help young people prepare for adulthood

    * Holds QTS/QTLS (ideal for a SEN Teacher role)

If you’re a motivated SEN Teacher who wants to help young people grow in confidence, independence, and life skills, we’d love to hear from you
