How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Vision for Education are currently recruiting for an Early Years Teacher in Blackpool, Lancashire on behalf of a supportive and forward-thinking primary school. This full-time Early Years Teacher role in Blackpool, Lancashire is due to begin in September 2026 and will continue for the entirety of the 2026/27 academic year to cover maternity leave.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Early Years Teacher in Blackpool, Lancashire to teach a Reception class within a caring and inclusive school environment.     The Role

    The successful Early Years Teacher in Blackpool, Lancashire will take full teaching responsibility for a Reception class, delivering engaging and creative lessons that support pupils academically, socially and emotionally.

    The school are looking for an Early Years Teacher in Blackpool, Lancashire who can create a stimulating classroom environment, maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement, and build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.

    This role will include:

    Planning and delivering lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum
    Assessing, tracking and monitoring pupil progress
    Creating an inclusive learning environment where all children can succeed
    Working collaboratively with support staff and senior leaders
    Encouraging pupil confidence, independence and enjoyment of learning
    The ideal Early Years Teacher in Blackpool, Lancashire will:

    Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
    Have recent experience teaching within a primary school setting
    Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
    Be enthusiastic, adaptable and committed to high standards of teaching
    Have a positive and nurturing approach to learning
    Be suitable for ECTs looking for a supportive first teaching role
