Key requirements:
Strong experience working in Azure cloud environments (IaaS & PaaS)
Hands-on infrastructure experience including VMs, VNets, NSGs, storage accounts and load balancers
Solid understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, VPNs, ExpressRoute) within Azure
Experience with identity and access management (Azure AD, RBAC, Conditional Access)
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates, Bicep or Terraform)
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights)
Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery and high availability solutions in Azure
Strong understanding of general cloud and infrastructure best practices (scalability, security, cost optimisation)
Relevant Azure certifications (AZ‑104 preferred) and ability to operate at a senior level
