This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, personable, and proactive individual with previous reception or administrative experience, ideally within a legal or professional services environment. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience while providing essential administrative support to the wider legal team.
Key Responsibilities as a Legal Receptionist:
- Act as the first point of contact for all visitors, clients, and telephone enquiries
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, directing enquiries appropriately
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and manage fee earner diaries
- Handle incoming and outgoing post, DX, and deliveries
- Support solicitors and legal staff with ad hoc administrative tasks
- Ensure reception and meeting areas are kept tidy and presentable
