How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

A privately owned residential developer in London is looking for a Project Manager to join their growing team. This is a strong opportunity for a Project Manager with proven residential experience to work on high-quality development schemes across the capital.

The Project Manager will be joining a business with a strong reputation in the London residential market, delivering well-designed homes and mixed-use schemes. The successful Project Manager will work closely with senior leadership, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard. This Project Manager role would suit a driven Project Manager who enjoys taking ownership of projects from early stages through to completion.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

    The Project Manager's role

The Project Manager will support the delivery of residential development projects, managing day-to-day project activity and coordinating with external consultants, contractors, planning teams, design teams, and commercial stakeholders.

The Project Manager will be involved in programme management, design coordination, procurement support, contract administration, risk management, reporting, and site progress meetings. They will help ensure that quality, cost, and programme targets are achieved throughout each stage of the development process.

The Project Manager will also be expected to build strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and professional teams, while maintaining a clear focus on successful project delivery.

    The Project Manager

The successful Project Manager will have:

Prior experience working within a construction consultancy environment
Residential project experience, ideally within London
A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or a similar construction-related subject
MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB, or working towards a relevant professional qualification
Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and residential development processes
Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
A proactive and professional approach to project delivery

    In Return?

    £50,000 - £58,000
    Car allowance
    Pension contribution
    Private healthcare
    Bonus potential
    Professional development support
    Strong residential project pipeline
    Clear progression opportunities
