How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    RECRUITMENT RESOURCER – TRADES & LABOUR

    Location: Allied Recruitment Services Ltd

    Allied Recruitment Services Ltd is looking for a motivated and organised Recruitment Resourcer to join our busy Trades & Labour department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to develop a career within the recruitment industry.

    Working Hours:

    * Monday to Thursday: 07:30am – 5:30pm

    * Friday: 07:30am – 5:00pm

    Holiday Entitlement:

    * 20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays

    Key Responsibilities:

    * Sourcing and attracting candidates for Trades & Labour vacancies

    * Advertising vacancies on job boards and social media platforms

    * Screening CVs and conducting candidate registration interviews

    * Building and maintaining a database of skilled trades and labour workers

    * Conducting reference checks and right-to-work verification

    * Matching suitable candidates to client requirements

    * Managing candidate availability and bookings

    * Liaising with clients regarding staffing requirements

    * Maintaining accurate candidate records and compliance documentation

    * Supporting Recruitment Consultants with daily resourcing activities

    * Handling incoming calls and candidate enquiries

    * Assisting with onboarding and induction processes

    * Ensuring all recruitment activities comply with company policies and employment legislation

    * Supporting our Driving and Industrial division and our payroll manager

    The Ideal Candidate:

    * Excellent communication and organisational skills

    * Confident telephone manner

    * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks

    * Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office

    * Strong attention to detail

    * Previous recruitment or customer service experience is desirable but not essential

    * Positive attitude and willingness to learn
