How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    About you

You are a Signage Production Manager who thrives in a busy manufacturing environment. You enjoy being on the shop floor, leading teams, solving problems and making sure projects move through production efficiently and to the highest standards.

You understand the challenges of the signage industry. Tight deadlines, changing priorities and complex projects are nothing new to you. You are organised, approachable and capable of keeping multiple departments aligned while maintaining quality throughout.

This role will suit someone who enjoys taking ownership and wants to play a key role within a growing signage and large format print business.

    Your experience

You have experience managing production within the signage industry and understand the processes involved in manufacturing, fabrication, print, assembly and dispatch.

You are confident planning workloads, managing production teams and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to specification.

You have a strong understanding of quality control, health and safety, stock management and production scheduling. You are also comfortable working closely with project managers, installation teams and other departments to keep projects moving smoothly through the business.

Strong leadership skills, attention to detail and a hands on approach are essential.

What you will be doing with your experience in this role

You will take responsibility for the day to day running of production, ensuring workloads are planned effectively and all resources are available to meet project deadlines.

You will oversee quality control across the factory, sign off completed jobs and ensure all work leaving production meets both client expectations and company standards.

You will lead production meetings, manage stock levels, coordinate material requirements and ensure completed projects are prepared correctly for dispatch and installation.

Alongside managing the production team, you will maintain high standards of housekeeping, health and safety and continuously look for ways to improve efficiency, communication and workflow throughout the operation.

    About the business

You would be joining an established signage and large format print business with a strong reputation for quality, service and delivery.

The business produces a wide range of signage, graphics and visual communication projects and continues to invest in its people, equipment and processes. With a busy order book and ambitious plans for the future, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Signage Production Manager to make a genuine impact.
