How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Are you passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives?

We are looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join #teamcommunity, working within shared accommodation to support individuals with complex needs, including mental health challenges, substance misuse, learning disabilities, and experiences of homelessness.

In this role, you will provide both emotional and practical support, helping customers to build independence, develop essential life skills, and sustain their tenancies. You will play a key part in creating safe, stable, and supportive living environments where individuals can thrive.

    Key Responsibilities

In this varied and rewarding role, you will:

    * Provide person-centred support tailored to individual needs

    * Deliver intensive tenancy management, supporting customers to maintain stable accommodation

    * Assist customers in developing life skills, such as budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and self-care

    * Support with rent payments, benefits applications, and managing any arrears

    * Carry out regular property inspections, ensuring safety standards are met and reporting repairs

    * Facilitate one-to-one sessions and group meetings in line with support plans

    * Support customers to understand and maintain house rules and positive behaviours

    * Work collaboratively with external agencies and partners to meet customer needs

    * Maintain accurate records, including support plans, outcomes, and case notes

    * Support customers to move on to long-term, independent housing

    What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is compassionate, resilient, and committed to supporting people to achieve positive outcomes.

    You will ideally have:

    * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport

    * A caring and respectful approach, with the ability to handle sensitive situations

    * Good organisational skills and attention to detail

    * An understanding of the needs of individuals with complex or multiple disadvantages

    * Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries

    * Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
