Vehicle Technician

Our client, a reputable main dealer in Telford, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their established workshop team. The successful Vehicle Technician will play a critical role in delivering high-quality servicing and repairs, supported by ongoing training and career development opportunities. Duties:
* Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on a wide range of vehicles
* Diagnose and troubleshoot faults using modern diagnostic equipment
* Conduct safety checks and road tests to ensure vehicle compliance and safety
* Document all work accurately and maintain detailed service records
* Collaborate closely with workshop and service teams to meet customer expectations
* Ensure all work complies with manufacturer standards and health and safety regulations
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
Requirements:
* Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent experience)
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician within a workshop environment
* Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
* Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Full UK driving licence
* Level 2 qualification with relevant hands-on experience considered
