How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Founded in 1999, Clarity Pharma Ltd is one of the UK's leading pharmaceutical and healthcare distribution providers. We deliver bespoke end-to-end distribution solutions, combining industry expertise with the latest market insights and strategies. Working alongside a wide range of pharmaceutical manufacturers, we provide storage and distribution services to wholesalers, pharmacies, GP surgeries, and hospitals nationwide.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Accuracy Checking Technician to join our thriving private online pharmacy team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring patients across the UK receive their medication safely, accurately, and efficiently.
If you are a GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician with an accredited checking qualification and a passion for patient safety, we'd love to hear from you.
    The Role
As an Accuracy Checking Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out the final accuracy check of dispensed prescriptions that have been clinically screened by a pharmacist. Working within a fast-paced online pharmacy environment, you will help ensure the highest standards of accuracy, compliance, and patient care.
    Key Responsibilities
    * Complete final accuracy checks on dispensed medicines and associated items in line with SOPs, regulatory requirements, and professional standards.
    * Ensure prescriptions are accurately assembled, labelled, packed, and ready for dispatch.
    * Work closely with pharmacists, dispensers, and support staff to maintain efficient dispensary workflows.
    * Identify, report, and escalate dispensing errors, discrepancies, and near misses through appropriate governance procedures.
    * Support prescription processing, stock management, and workflow organisation within a high-volume digital pharmacy environment.
    * Communicate professionally with colleagues, patients, and external partners via telephone, email, and digital systems where required.
    * Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with confidentiality, GDPR, and information governance requirements.
    * Contribute to audits, continuous improvement initiatives, and safe working practices across the pharmacy.
    About You
We're looking for a highly organised and detail-focused individual who thrives in a regulated environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
    Essential Skills & Experience
    * GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician with an accredited checking qualification.
    * Previous experience working within a pharmacy dispensary environment.
    * Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on patient safety and accuracy.
    * Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
    * Strong IT skills and confidence using pharmacy systems and digital workflows.
    * Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
    Desirable Experience
    * Experience within a private, online, mail-order, or hub-based pharmacy.
    * Familiarity with automated or centralised dispensing processes.
    * Experience supporting high-volume prescription workflows.
    * Knowledge of medicines governance, stock control procedures, and audit processes.
    Why Join Clarity Pharma?
    * 25 days annual leave plus our Birthday Club.
    * On-site parking.
    * Company social events.
    * Opportunity to join a growing and ambitious healthcare organisation.
    * Supportive and collaborative team environment.
    * Career development opportunities within a rapidly expanding business.
    Working Environment
This is a full-time onsite role in a busy private online pharmacy. You’ll be working in a fast-paced, regulated environment where accuracy, efficiency, and confidentiality are essential.
