Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
* Conduct diagnostic, servicing, and repair work on a variety of cars and vans to high standards
* Ensure accurate diagnosis and reporting of faults and vehicle conditions
* Adhere strictly to quality and Health & Safety procedures to maintain excellent customer service
* Maintain and develop technical skills through in-house training as a Vehicle Technician
* Contribute to team targets and objectives, ensuring high productivity and quality
* Assist in vehicle inspections, fault finding, and road tests as required
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
* NVQ/IMI Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair is preferred but not essential; strong practical experience will also be considered
* Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
* Good work ethic, proactive attitude, and team spirit
* Ability to produce consistent, high-quality work in a busy workshop environment as a Vehicle Technician
* MOT Smart Card or experience with German vehicles is advantageous but not mandatory
* Commitment to delivering excellent customer service and adhering to safety standards
