How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Summary:

We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our team. This isn't a role where you'll be stuck doing standard paperwork or left without support.     Main Responsibilities:
    Performing administrative tasks as required, including preparing estimates and invoices and keeping track of the project's progress, usually with the help of specific software and technical experts.
    Reporting to the project manager on the project's progress through the project lifecycle.
    Supporting team members by researching project information.
    Updating and reporting on the project's schedule progress, budget, and spending.
    Collaborating with stakeholders about their needs and goals for the project.
    Support the Check and Review of project scopes ensuring they achieve the required outputs and quality standards.
    Providing input into the coordination of technical solutions and support on complex capital projects. This includes Scope Documents, Works & Site Information, Design Drawings, Programmes, CDM Documents and compilation of job packs to required deadlines.
    Liaison with internal stakeholders and external 3rd parties, to seek approvals to facilitate projects.
    Undertaking site visits/audits and conduct project meetings.
    Working closely with Project Managers in regard to delivery dates, programme and cost analysis.
    Liaising with third parties to ensure they have the correct information.
    Maintaining thorough documentation of project activities.
    Regularly reviewing and updating processes and procedures.You'll need:
    HNC, HND or degree in an Engineering discipline.
    Relevant Project Management Qualifications
    Experience in a water distribution environment or similar industrial/infrastructure background.
    A keen, committed and motivated individual with excellent communication skills.
    Experience of project management software and common data environments.
    Demonstrate and implement sound engineering judgement.
    Strong understanding of CDM 2015 and how it is applied to projects.
    Excellent communication and time management skills
