How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    SEN Teaching Assistant - Enfield
    Primary & Secondary SEN School | Full-Time | Long-Term
    Start: September

    Are you a patient, caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant looking to start a new role in September where you can genuinely make a difference?

    We are working with a well-resourced and highly supportive SEN school in Enfield that caters for both primary and secondary-aged pupils. They are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision from September.

    This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school where pupil wellbeing, personalised support and long-term development are at the heart of everything they do.

    The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs, including:

    Autism (ASC)
    ADHD
    Speech and Language needs
    Sensory processing difficulties
    Global developmental delay
    Complex learning needsStudents benefit from structured routines, tailored learning programmes and a nurturing, consistent environment that supports both learning and personal development.

    The Role

    Providing 1:1 and small group support across primary and secondary classes
    Supporting communication, emotional regulation and engagement in learning
    Following EHCP targets and individual support plans
    Assisting with personal care where required
    Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals
    Helping maintain a calm, structured and positive learning environment
    Encouraging independence, confidence and social development

    The Ideal Candidate

    Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ASD, ADHD or complex needs
    Calm, patient and resilient approach
    Comfortable working across both primary and secondary age groups
    Confident supporting non-verbal or limited communication pupils
    Willing to support personal care where needed
    Strong team player with a proactive attitude
    Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)Both experienced SEN Teaching Assistants and strong mainstream TAs looking to move into a specialist setting are encouraged to apply.
