The role of the Senior Design Manager – Façade Systems will involve:
* Senior Design Manager position responsible for the management and design a high quality manufactured range of façade systems for commercial
* Attend design meetings both virtually and in person weekly
* Build, grow and manage an internal team of Designers also working closely with architects, engineers, project managers and clients
* Support both external sales and internal teams, providing technical input and ensuring smooth project delivery
* Develop detailed design specifications for products and projects
* Offer 1st line technical support by telephone, email and occasional site visits
* Support new product launches and exhibitions as and when required
* Review, create and analyse project / product designs
The ideal applicant will be a Senior Design Manager – Façade Systems with:
* Must have a technical understanding of the building envelope marker sector open to: facades, cladding, curtain walling, glazing or a closely related product/system.
* Must have people management experience
* Excellent design experience using AutoCAD / BIM / Revit
* Great communication skills
* Ideal to have existing project management experience
* Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
