We’re working with a number of welcoming secondary schools across Bradford who are looking for confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to join their teams. These schools are known for their supportive staff culture, strong behaviour systems, and commitment to helping both students and staff thrive.

This is a brilliant opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, sports coaches, youth workers, or experienced classroom support staff looking to gain valuable school-based experience. No two days are ever the same, and you’ll play a key role in keeping learning on track when teachers are absent.

What does the role involve?

You’ll be:
• Supervising classes across a range of subjects using pre-set work provided by teaching staff
• Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain engaged in learning
• Supporting students to complete tasks and maintain a positive learning environment
• Building strong relationships with students and school staff
• Gaining hands-on classroom experience within supportive secondary schools

• Experience working with young people, in schools, coaching, tutoring, youth work or similar
• Confident communication and the ability to lead a classroom

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
