A growing civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team based in Bridgwater.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist with valuations, variations, payments, and final accounts.
* Support the preparation of cost reports, forecasts, and CVRs.
* Help manage subcontractor and supplier accounts.
* Assist with procurement and commercial administration.
* Monitor project costs and support cost control activities.
* Work closely with commercial and operational teams to ensure successful project delivery.
About You
* Degree qualified (or working towards) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
* Previous experience within construction, civil engineering, or infrastructure is desirable.
* Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
* Eager to learn, develop, and progress within a commercial role.
* Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to work.
