How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

With a customer-focused approach and a commitment to craftsmanship, design excellence, and outstanding service, the business has successfully delivered thousands of homes and continues to invest in creating places where people are proud to live.

As part of their continued growth within the Somerset area, they are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic New Homes Sales Advisor to join their successful sales team.

    The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and customer-focused sales professional with previous experience within the new homes industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer journey, from the initial enquiry and first visit through to legal completion and handover.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with customers throughout the entire home-buying process. Working closely with prospective purchasers, you will be responsible for maximising sales opportunities while ensuring every customer receives a professional, informative, and seamless experience.

    Key Responsibilities

Conduct professional and informative development, plot, and show home tours.

Qualify customer requirements and match suitable properties to their needs.

Manage all sales enquiries, appointments, and follow-up communications effectively.

Maintain accurate customer records and sales reports using CRM systems.

Liaise with solicitors, mortgage advisers, and other key stakeholders to progress sales through the legal process.

Support customers throughout the purchasing journey, providing regular updates and guidance.

Achieve and exceed sales targets, reservations, and performance objectives.

Ensure the sales office, show homes, and marketing materials are presented to the highest standards at all times.

Keep up to date with local market conditions, competitor activity, and product knowledge.

Maintain compliance with all relevant industry regulations, company policies, and health and safety procedures.

Proactively identify opportunities to generate new business and increase sales performance.

Work closely with colleagues and management to support the overall success of the development.

    Essential to have

Previous experience as a New Homes Sales Advisor working for a residential housebuilder or developer.

Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets within a customer-facing sales environment.

Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Strong organisational and administrative abilities with attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously.

    Professional appearance and approach.

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Availability to work every weekend without exception.

    Desirable

Strong understanding of the new homes sales process from reservation through to completion.

Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools.

Knowledge of local property market trends and competitor developments.

    Working Hours - 10:00am – 5:00pm - Weekend Working

Working every weekend is an essential requirement of this role.

    Days Off

Tuesday & Wednesday or Thursday & Friday, depending on business requirements.

    What We Are Looking For

We are seeking an energetic, driven, and personable individual who thrives in a sales environment and genuinely enjoys helping customers find their perfect home.

You will be confident in managing the full customer journey, from meeting and greeting visitors, conducting property viewings, and securing reservations, through to liaising with legal representatives and supporting customers up to completion. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, target-driven, and committed to delivering exceptional service while building lasting relationships with customers.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a respected housebuilder, contribute to the success of a thriving development, and build a rewarding career within the new homes industry
