How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Air Conditioning Engineer

    Crawley & Surrounding Areas
    £50,000 + Excellent Benefits

    We are a well-established and growing HVAC company looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join our friendly and supportive team, covering Crawley and the surrounding areas.

    This is an excellent opportunity for an Air Conditioning Engineer who enjoys a predominantly installation-focused role while still having the variety of maintenance and fault-finding work. With a workload split of approximately 75% installations and 25% service and maintenance, you'll benefit from a diverse range of projects across commercial, residential, and hospitality environments.

    The Role

    As an Air Conditioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of a variety of air conditioning systems. Working both independently and as part of a team, the successful Air Conditioning Engineer will deliver high-quality workmanship while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Installation of split, multi-split, and VRV/VRF air conditioning systems

    * Pipework installation, brazing, pressure testing, and commissioning

    * Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and routine servicing

    * Fault finding, diagnostics, and repair work

    * Replacement of components and system upgrades

    * Performance testing, commissioning, and client handovers

    * Completion of service reports and compliance documentation

    * Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with industry standards

    About You

    To be considered for this Air Conditioning Engineer position, you will have:

    * Proven experience installing air conditioning systems

    * Strong knowledge of split, multi-split, and VRV/VRF equipment

    * Valid F-Gas certification

    * Experience carrying out servicing, maintenance, and fault finding

    * Full UK driving licence

    * A professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach
