We are recruiting on behalf of a fantastic client in Farnham who is looking to add an experienced CNC Turner (Fanuc) to their growing precision engineering team.

The Role

As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC lathes with Fanuc controls to manufacture high-precision components to exact specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Program, set and operate CNC Turning machines using Fanuc controls

*

Produce precision components to drawing tolerances and customer specifications

*

Carry out first-off and in-process inspection using measuring equipment

*

Edit programs and make tooling adjustments to optimise performance

*

Read and interpret engineering drawings

*

Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy and housekeeping

*

Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to meet delivery targets

About You

*

Proven experience as a CNC Turner

*

Strong working knowledge of Fanuc control systems

*

Ability to programme, set and operate independently

*

Experience working within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment

*

Confident reading technical and engineering drawings

*

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

*

Positive attitude and team-focused approach

*

Experience within Aerospace, Formula 1, Defence, or other highly regulated precision engineering sectors would be highly advantageous
