TeacherActive is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established nursery in Prenton for an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated early years professional to lead a thriving nursery setting, ensuring the highest standards of care, education, and safeguarding for children while supporting and developing a committed staff team.
The Role
As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the nursery, ensuring compliance with EYFS requirements and maintaining a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can flourish.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and motivating the nursery team to deliver outstanding childcare and education.
Managing nursery operations, policies, and procedures.
Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and Ofsted requirements.
Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies.
Supporting staff development through supervision, training, and performance management.
Managing occupancy levels and contributing to the nursery's continued growth and success.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience in a Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager, or senior leadership role within an early years setting.
A relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or above.
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
A passion for delivering high-quality childcare and education.
