How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Senior Site Supervisor

    Major Projects

    Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire

    £50,000 to £70,000 plus company phone, IT equipment, mileage and travel expenses reimbursed

    Are you a Senior Site Supervisor with strong experience in electricity distribution projects looking to take responsibility for major site based works across high voltage environments?

    On offer is a site leadership opportunity within a major infrastructure programme where you will oversee critical construction and commissioning activity across EHV projects.

    This organisation delivers complex electricity infrastructure projects across the UK and continues to invest heavily in substation and network upgrades.

    In this role, you will supervise site based works across EHV cable, overhead line and substation environments, ensuring safety, compliance and quality standards are maintained at all times.

    This is a strong opportunity to step into a senior supervisory role within a high performing infrastructure environment offering long term stability and progression.

    The Role
    * Supervise site based delivery of EHV construction projects
    * Oversee works across substations, cables and overhead line environments
    * Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures
    * Coordinate teams and subcontractors on live sites
    * Support commissioning and completion activities

    The Person
    * 5 plus years site supervision experience in electricity distribution or transmission
    * Experience working up to 132kV environments
    * IOSH or NEBOSH qualification preferred
    * SMSTS and relevant electrical or civil background
