How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    LEV Engineer

    £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (Permanent Position)

    Staffordshire (UK Wide Travel)

    Monday – Friday (7:00am – 4:30pm).

    A leading Staffordshire based business are looking for a committed LEV Engineer to join their skilled team. This company provides a broad range of engineering services to an eclectic mix of manufacturing environments.

    Experiencing impressive levels of growth in buoyant markets, this business is offering a secure, long-term, progressive opportunity for an engineer motivated to provide first class LEV Engineering support to their clients.

    The ideal candidate will be based within a 50-mile radius of Staffordshire.

    Role Description

    * Testing and certifying LEV Systems across a range of manufacturing environments.

    * Completing LEV COSH Examinations on LEV Systems.

    * Writing up of reports related to the findings, providing reports to the office support team.

    * Fault diagnosis and basic mechanical work if skilled in this practise (if not, training is provided).

    * Based at home and travelling on a UK wide basis.

    Skills & Experience

    * P601 Qualified.

    * LEV knowledge and experience performing COSH examinations.

    * Willingness to travel on a UK wide basis.

    * Strong communication skills and customer facing ability.

    * Full UK driving license.
