How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Sales Development Representative (SDR) – IT Solutions

    £30,000 – £35,000 + Uncapped Commission + Clear Career Progression

    An ambitious and rapidly growing IT solutions provider is looking for a driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join its expanding commercial team based in Uxbridge.

    The Role

    As a Sales Development Representative, you'll be responsible for identifying and engaging prospective clients, generating qualified sales opportunities and supporting the wider sales team in driving business growth.

    Working alongside experienced Account Managers and technical specialists, you'll develop relationships with key decision-makers across a variety of sectors, helping organisations explore technology solutions that improve efficiency, security and business performance.

    This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, is motivated by targets and wants to establish a long-term career within the IT industry.

    Key Responsibilities

    Generate new business opportunities through outbound calling, email campaigns and LinkedIn outreach.
    Identify and qualify prospective customers across multiple industries.
    Arrange appointments and discovery meetings for the senior sales team.
    Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities.
    Research target accounts and identify key stakeholders.
    Work collaboratively with sales, technical and marketing teams to maximise business opportunities.
    Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity.
    Develop knowledge of cloud technologies, cybersecurity, infrastructure, managed services and emerging IT trends.About You

    Previous experience in an SDR, BDR, Lead Generation, Internal Sales or Telesales role is advantageous.
    Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
    Confident, proactive and resilient with a positive attitude.
    Motivated by achieving and exceeding targets.
    Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
    An interest in technology and developing a career within the IT sector.
    Experience using CRM systems would be beneficial.What's on Offer
