We are currently recruiting for an experienced Stores Operative / Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment based in East Kilbride.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual with previous warehouse and forklift experience who is looking to secure a permanent role with a well-established company.
The Role:
Working as part of the warehouse and stores team, you will be responsible for the safe movement, storage, and organisation of materials and products while supporting the day-to-day operation of the manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
* Loading and unloading deliveries
* Moving materials and stock throughout the warehouse and production areas
* Picking, packing, and organising stock accurately
* Carrying out routine forklift checks and reporting any faults or issues
* Assisting with stock control and inventory management
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
* Following all health & safety procedures and company guidelines
* Supporting general warehouse and stores duties as required
What We're Looking For:
* Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence/Certification
* Previous warehouse, stores, or manufacturing experience
* Good understanding of health & safety within a warehouse environment
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication skills and a positive attitude
* Reliable, punctual, and hardworking approach
