How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

If you're passionate about engineering and want to work with a dynamic, people focused consultancy driving progress and sustainability across the UK’s manufacturing and process industries, Addison Project is the place.

    WORKSCOPE

    * Monitor SHE performance and produce weekly and monthly SHE reports for submission to Addison and/or the client

    * Review construction activities and design information to ensure safe and practicable installation methodologies

    * Support incident and near‑miss investigations by reviewing evidence and providing recommendations, without ownership of disciplinary or management actions

    * Act as a SHE liaison support during project meetings, providing professional input where required

    * Review sub-contractor SHE documentation and advising on compliance with statutory and contractual requirements

    * Support the implementation of CDM Construction Phase requirements through advisory review, not managerial control

    * Provide specialist SHE input to support continuous improvement initiatives when requested

    EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

    * Strong communication and organisational skills

    * Valid CSCS card

    * Strong understanding of CDM Regulations with experience operating in both Principal Designer and Principal Contractor environments

    * Proven experience working on onshore UK construction projects, within the chemical, pharmaceutical, FMCG or COMAH sites

    * NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 6 in Occupational Health & Safety (minimum)

    * Up‑to‑date knowledge of UK Health, Safety and Environmental legislation

    * Excellent communication, influencing and reporting skills

    * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

    * Good understanding of construction methods, tolerances, and quality standards

    WHY WORK WITH ADDISON PROJECT

    * We are a respected UK engineering partner delivering safe, high quality EPCM solutions.

    * We enable a collaborative, supportive, and technically high performing team environment.

    * We work across diverse sectors including chemicals, pharma, energy, food & beverage and manufacturing

    * Contribute to projects that drive sustainability and long term industry improvement.
