How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    SF Partners are supporting a Tewkesbury based business in recruiting a Manufacturing & Supply Chain Co-ordinator on a permanent site based basis.

    Salary: £28,000-£30,000
    Working pattern: Mon-Thurs 7.30am-4pm, Fridays 7am - 1pm

    Position Overview
    - Develop and Maintain production schedules, optimising resource utilisation and ensure smooth flow of materials to meet production and customer demands.
    - Keep a critical focus on our customer base ensuring excellent standard of service is provided and maintained applying effective customer relationship management.

    Essential Job Functions

    - Production Scheduling:
    Create, update, and review master production schedules, ensuring alignment with customer demand, resource availability, and operational capacity.

    - Inventory Management:
    Monitor inventory levels, manage materials planning, and optimise stock levels to minimise waste and ensure timely availability of components for production.

    - Capacity Planning:
    Analyse production capacity, identify bottlenecks & deviations, and develop solutions to optimise resource allocation and throughput.

    - Supplier Management:
    Coordinate with suppliers on material delivery schedules, apply strategic and tactical principles to procure materials and Sub Con, whilst driving down costs, address any supply disruptions, and ensure timely
    delivery of components to meet production needs.

    - Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    - Liaise fully with and engage other functions across the business in the business planning process and its execution and delivery
    addressing any issues affecting production.

    - Process Improvement:

    - Identify and apply continuous improvement strategies to the receipt, movement and storage of materials that meet exacting quality and production requirements and identify opportunities to improve production planning processes, implement best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

    - Performance Monitoring:
    Track KPIs related to production planning, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.

    - Customer Focus:
    Effectively manage and grow our customer base and be the voice of the customer aiming to exceed their expectations by applying effective customer relationship management

    - Data Analysis:
    Utilise data analysis and reporting to support decision-making, forecast material requirements, and optimise production schedules.

    - Manage, maintain and effectively utilise the Javelin software to ensure the planning function and business forecast is consistent, reliable and automated
