How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Care Support Workers – NASLS – Female Only
    Salary: £13.45 per hour plus benefits
    Requirements: Driving License essential, Female only*
    Hours: Various hours available (full time and part time)
    Location: North Ayrshire (Community Based)

    What We Offer:
    * Full induction and training – including shadowing experienced colleagues

    * Paid travel time and expenses if travelling between relevant supports
    * 24/7 on-call support from our management team
    * Small, supportive teams – you’ll regularly work with the same individuals
    * At least one weekend off every four weeks
    What We’re Looking For:
    * Willingness to work a variety of shifts including community supports, day, evening and sleepover shifts (rotas are built around the people we support)
    * Excellent communication and people skills
    * A positive, enthusiastic attitude toward learning and development
    * Basic IT skills
    * A commitment to person-centred care and inclusion
    * Ability to work as part of a team and solve problems creatively
    * Must be 18+ (for insurance purposes)
    * Previous care experience is desirable but not essential – we value the right attitude and a genuine passion for supporting others.

    * This role involves regulated work with adults and requires PVG Scheme membership.
