How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Maths Teacher (SEMH School)

    Location: Milton Keynes
    Contract: Full Time | Immediate Start | Potential Temp-to-Perm Opportunity
    Daily Rate: £170 - £240 per day

    Maths Teacher – Make a Real Difference

    SEND Inclusion Support is proud to be working in partnership with one of our specialist SEMH schools in Milton Keynes to recruit a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher to join their team as soon as possible.

    This position is available immediately and will initially run for the remainder of the Summer Term. There may be an opportunity to return in September, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.

    This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive and nurturing environment, teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The school provides a highly personalised approach to learning, enabling pupils to achieve both academically and personally.

    As a Maths Teacher, you will play a vital role in helping young people re-engage with education, build confidence and achieve positive outcomes.

    The Role

    * Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils.

    * Support pupils with a range of abilities, learning styles and additional needs.

    * Create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.

    * Support pupils with SEMH needs to overcome barriers to learning.

    * Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies where required.

    * Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, pastoral teams and senior leaders.

    * Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing and academic achievement.

    The Ideal Candidate

    * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent.

    * Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4.

    * Strong classroom management skills.

    * Experience working with SEND and/or SEMH pupils is desirable.

    * A patient, resilient and nurturing approach.

    * Passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential.
