How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Our client, a leading property investment and development business based in Central London, is seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager to oversee the delivery, performance, and continuous improvement of building services across a high‑quality commercial portfolio.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, solutions‑focused professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys working closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and occupiers to ensure buildings operate at their best.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Lead the day‑to‑day management of all M&E and technical services across a diverse Central London portfolio.

    * Oversee planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring statutory compliance and best‑in‑class service delivery.

    * Manage service providers, contractors, and specialist consultants, driving performance, value, and accountability.

    * Support capital works, refurbishments, and lifecycle projects from planning through to completion.

    * Monitor building performance, energy usage, and sustainability initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement.

    * Provide technical expertise to asset managers, development teams, and senior stakeholders.

    * Maintain accurate records, reporting, and documentation in line with regulatory and internal standards.

    * Build strong relationships with occupiers, ensuring a responsive and customer‑centric approach.

    About You

    * Strong technical background in building services, ideally with experience in commercial real estate.

    * Proven track record managing M&E operations, contractors, and compliance within a property or FM environment.

    * Confident communicator with the ability to influence, challenge, and collaborate across teams.

    * Comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving business with a hands‑on, solutions‑driven mindset.

    * Relevant qualifications (e.g., electrical/mechanical engineering, IWFM, HNC/HND) are advantageous
