How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Electronics Engineer - Power Supply Design
    £45,000 - £60,000 + Development + Company Benefits
    Crawley (Commutable from: Redhill, Gatwick, Reigate, Horsham)

    Are you an Electronics Engineer with power supply design experience looking for autonomy, technical ownership and the opportunity to work on end-to-end projects within a specialist engineering environment?

    On offer is a hands-on role where you will lead full lifecycle design projects, work on technically challenging power supply solutions and engage directly with customers on cutting-edge applications.

    This is a well-established, independent engineering business with a strong reputation in power supply design and manufacture. With a close-knit and highly experienced team, they offer a collaborative environment where engineers are trusted with responsibility and supported with training when needed.

    On offer is the chance to take ownership of projects from concept through to completion. You will be involved in topology selection, circuit design, PCB layout, testing and validation, while working closely with internal teams and external customers across demanding industries including defence.

    This role would suit a Senior Electronics Engineer with power supply design experience looking for autonomy, technical ownership and long-term stability within a specialist company.

    The Role:

    Lead full lifecycle power supply design projects from concept to completion
    Hands-on role covering circuit design, PCB layout, testing and validation
    Work closely with customers and internal teams on technically challenging applications
    The Candidate:

    Strong experience in power supply design, from concept through to completion
    Hands-on skills in circuit design, PCB layout, testing and debugging
    Ability to take ownership of projects and work with customers on technical solutions
